ROB:
life feels so good, being back in his freckly arms. it seems like we havent been with eachother in so long. he went to kauai. when he came home i had somewhat of a rockett emergency that i had to attend to in redlands for a week. after that, we were focusing on warped tour and sort of switching cities. id be in la and he would he in redlands. i also went to mexico for neil's graduation celebration sans rob. anyway, were back together, naked sweaty bodies between these hot summer sheets. feels like heaven i swear. today was the most amazing day. nothing incredibly special happened. we just existed together, happily, without argument or tension. 8 o'clock walks are now my favorite occasions (even though tonights was completed half way barefoot... i have so many blisters on my feet from disneyland yesterday).
KALI:
well god-dammit if im not extremely happy with my situation at the moment. we have a kick ass place, amazing dogs, amazing friends and enjoying the summer in a new city is a new experience im embracing whole heartedly. although i really dont think i was built for heat and sunshine. sunburns are pretty much my worst enemy. warped tour was basically hell on earth... shitty bands combined with 115 ̊ heat. i looked at rob and we simultaneously said "must go to beach" which ended up being josh's moms pool... god bless that chlorine. went to m cafe today as a suggestion of our lawyers. it was pretty much the bamb. also, he told us about this natural/vegan/holistic cruise through the caribbean that sounds like the most awesome cruise you could ever pay for. anyway im straying away from my topic. i went to valley of the dolls, this awesome doll store on beverly for my sisters b-day present. it made me realize i need to play with my dolls more. it really satisfied that crafty craving i get nearly every day. speaking of which, bought a new camera... a ricoh... ill post more about that later. dont wanna swamp this entry. gahh, i dont even wanna type anything else.

d & d baby.
so im pretty convinced that i live in a cave... but thats fine by meeee! ha. rob is going to the japan la 2nd year bash tonight with josh. i had planned on staying in and having a lazy night since (backtrack for a moment here) last night was a late night.
we went to "first fridays" at the natural history museum. (sidenote: im going to buy a small point and shoot because of nights like this, the iphone just aint cuttin' it.) basically youre partying under dinos. you walk through exhibits while boozing and listening to awesome bands. at first glance there were just a ton of people lined up outside of the museum doors. but then i saw a sweet girl named nina (www.ninabrav.com) that i met at united tradeshow whom lives in the beautiful HILO HAWAII - ugh jealous. while making our way into the museum josh screams, "look kali! right there, told you they were alive!" and sure enough a big t-rex followed by a triceratops slowly graze on by. i was in utter amazement. we took pictures with condors. looked at so many different beetles, bugs and everything creepy crawly that exists under the sun. frank, missi, sha-na and a few others were there. maybe next time i wont feel so lethargic (THANKS FLOW). 4 am bed call - just to wake up to texts from josh (who is on our couch in the next room) spelling only with lisps. "theriouthly kali, thith ith thstupid."
today i was on a mission, i wanted to find these wedges that old navy had, these clear glasses jonathan from agenda had on, a sun hat and some cute little sandals from nordstrom. check on three of the four. when i came back to the house i realized i was locked out. i broke in only to find sammy with the trash can lid on his head. its one of those flip around kind, so it looked like he had a satellite on him.
now i am sitting on the couch lusting after a few things. ughhhh, i guess ill share.

i need to stop buying boots, especially since its summer.

new point and shoot for me. nom nom nom

HUBBY TIME!
hooooly cow. gonna pick up this bad boy up at the airport (at 4am tonight/tomorrow morning ughh). i doubt i mentioned hes been in kauai backpacking around. ive been trying to keep myself busy and not think about it in order to avoid missing him. its strange how many things ive taken for granted that im SOOO thankful he does every day.

(on the right, with the long flowing locks)
on the bright side ive been fixing up the house while hes been gone. i stripped the heinous wallpaper in the guest room, hung a giant native american wall piece from ikea, hung curtains in our room, bought a new toilet seat, assembled a table, assembled 4 chairs and a coffee table was assembled in their too. i also bought paint anticipating a paint job in the bathroom and guest room... alas with no avail. while working in the bathroom i realized the sink had clogged due to the above "flowing locks". fucking pulled a tim "the toolman" taylor and talked to this awesome albino mexican dude at home depot about how to take my sink apart. i took it apart, snaked it and this came out! CROOOOOOSH!

YUM! (light bulb for size comparison) anyway, the sink still dont work! dang. gotta go buy draino, ugh, i was avoiding that creepy stuff.
well ive gotta finish up some last minute things... wash our sheets, put some new orange covers on our couches, clean and maybe paint our bed frame?

VIVA ROB!
